Hiragana — ゔ

ゔ is the rarely-used hiragana base character for the "v" sound, formed by adding a dakuten to う. It is almost never written outside of phonetic teaching charts — the katakana form ヴ (e.g. ヴィーガン, vegan) is what actually appears in real text.
