Hiragana — にぇ

にぇ pairs に with a small ぇ to represent "nye," filling a gap the standard youon row (にゃ/にゅ/にょ) doesn't cover for foreign words. It is almost always written in its katakana form ニェ for actual loanwords — the hiragana version is essentially never used.
