すぃsi

Hiragana — すぃ

Extended S-row 3 strokes
Character
すぃ

Usage Note

すぃ pairs す with a small ぃ to represent a plain "si" sound, distinguishing it from し ("shi") when a foreign name or word specifically needs the non-palatalized consonant. It is almost always written in its katakana form スィ for actual loanwords — the hiragana version is essentially never used.
